Only 2 hours from Buenos Aires, for a day trip, to 4 days, you can visit one of the biggest deltas of the world: Paraná River Delta (South of Entre Ríos). Around Ceibas you will see a typical cattle raising area, undeveloped, open, with diverse habitats and a very rich wildlife. Mostly a savanna with scattered thorny (Acacia type) trees and patches of humid grassland, reedbeds and riverside forest. Miles of dirt roads allow easy birding, alternating walking and driving, and also spotting birds from the car. The area is markedly “birdy” with abundant individuals and good levels of activity even in midday and every season. There is possible to find more than 100 species in a day. With 2 or 3 days you can raise the list to 150 species and gain memorable wildlife experiences.
