Birding Tours and Nature Photography in Southern South America

Guide

Carina Benente

My name is Carina Benente and I was born in Buenos Aires Province in 1976. Since I was a little girl my parents have shared with me their love for nature, which made me travel to many places of my country. I arrived at Puerto Madryn 22 years ago, looking forward to studying a career that would let me carry out my pass over my passion for nature and somehow collaborate in its conservation. My studies in biology led me to the world of tourism, and finally I became a Professional Tourist Guide.

Giselle Mangini

Giselle Mangini lives in Tucuman, Argentina. She was raised in an isolated and preserved area in Salta, Argentina, where naturally a lot of animals are seen. Since then, she has had a particular interest in nature, mainly in understanding how different species interact with each other.

José Fernández Piñar

Born in Madrid, Spain I have a background in law and finance. Married to an Argentinian, for ten years I travelled extensively this amazing country, fascinated by its wild nature and dramatic landscapes. In 2011 I quit the corporate life and settled with my family in north Patagonia. An ardent nature lover, soon I became a birding guide in the region. I am also a tour leader, taking private groups throughout Patagonia on trips focused on wildlife viewing and nature and landscape photography.
